Just clicks!

Asked by RobR82 Jul 17, 2017 at 12:38 AM about the 2005 Volvo S40 2.4i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My engine died while driving and now just clicks
when I try to start it. Before it died the acceleration
sounded like a low rumble. Went to work with no
problems and only made it half way home

Have a look at all your fluid levels first then check the condition of the battery and alternator. Sounds like you at least have a weak battery issue. Good Luck!
