how do I fix the heater ?

It blows air but it wont get warm .

Behind the dash are flapper valves that open and close allowing air to flow over the heater core or not. Check to see the knob on the dash is still connected to the flapper behind the dash. Do this first. Then check the thermostat. Then suspect the heater core could be blocked but most likely not. Good luck.
