Determining Value of 240

Asked by Apr 23, 2012 at 10:07 PM about the 1990 Volvo 240 Sedan

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Is there any reliable source to determining the value of a 1990 and 1991 240 sedan with very low
mileage?  I am thinking an asking price of almost $9,000 is way too much for a vehicle with 70,000 miles.

I'd say $9K is too much. I used some of my resources and most say $2K avg. with regular mileage. Since yours has only 70K miles , is it in excellant mechanical shape, body near mint, I'd say someone would pay around $6000. List it for how much you want and see if you get any takers. Good Luck!

2,000 to MAX 3,500,if it was a P1800 then 9,000 is a bargain now.

Realistically, if it was put up on auction today on EBay it would bring $3500. max, but it would have to be in excellent shape. People list them for $6000 or more, but these never sell
