My check engine light came on my 2006 mini cooper.

It's a 5 speed and can't get into gear, I think it's the clutch. Smells like something is burning. Oil gauge is fine. Any suggestions? About how much to fix? Thanks.

Hard to say without the 4 digit code. Scan the car and post the code back here. If it's the clutch your looking at around $1800 or more if a dealer repairs it. Mini's are made by BMW and are Big $$$ to repair.
