does this vehicle come in a automatic
yes, not sure if it is "rare" a friend at work has one
I think it's pretty common, actually.
yes auto and straight.
Automatics are now coming with paddle shifters :)
Nope, the cooper S only have a normal gearbox
The 2005+ mini cooper s is available with an automatic transmission, as well as the 6spd. it was the 2002-2004's that were 6spd only.
Every Mini (with the exception of the One model, afaik) can be ordered with a Steptronic automatic transmission. My Mini (an S) is automatic with the paddleshifts and the sport button. Try it and you will never change for a standard gearbox!
Sure it comes as an automatic but why would you want to miss at least half the fun?
Yep. I'm pretty sure all MINI models have the option to be Automatic.
YES THE OLDER MODELS (R50, 52, 53) CAME IN A CVT OR A SIX SPEED AUTOMATIC AS WELL AS A 5 OR S SPEED MAN. THE NEW MINIS R55, 56, 57) ARE ALL MATED WITH A SIX SPEED IN MAN OR AUTO.
I had a new shape mini in 2003/4 and only drive automatics because I'm lazy!! However the mini I had only came as a 1.6 and as an automatic it was awful....thinking about a hatch mini but need a bigger engine....what's the max engine size for an automatic mini hatch & across the mini range?
we LOVE our '03 automatic base cooper. it is amazingly fast! i also have driven manual transmission cars and am to lazy to do that anymore! the automatic cvt has plenty of power
