95 geo metro wont go

My 95 geo metro 2door hatchback doesnt want to
speed up when i push on the gas it shifts into
gears but i push all ghe way on the gas pedal but
doesnt go

Possible plugged catalytic converter. Have it checked out at an exhaust shop.
