when slowing down between 5&10 mph i hear a clicking sound , i think comming from the front. Could this be comming from the break pads?
its BRAKE pads but most likey a u-joint or even wheel bearing how many miles/km on it?? the u-joints on the front driveshaft go regularily on these.
CV JOINT on axle ,no grease, repack w/ proper grease, or replace
get to an open parking lot, from park, turn the wheel completely to the left, and drive the car in a circle, then repeat to the right, see if there is a difference or if it goes away one direction, and louder in another, also drive slowly by a building to see if you can tell which side of the car it is, (it will echo off the wall), if the popping or clicking noise is more for example turning left, it would be the right axle/cv joint, if more right, it is the left axle..yes it can be a pebble or something in the tire, wheel, the brake pad sensor is more of a solid higher pitch squeak when brakes are applied. good luck
That happened to somebody I know and it was a lug nut rattling around in the hubcap that had come off. But I like those other answers better..more likely--I was just trying to think of something else
