It has fuel injectors and sparkplugs. 6 of each.

Yes, it must have both. One is injectors to spray fuel in to combustion chamber, other is spark plug to ignite it. Two entirely different systems to run engine. It has a coil-pack for igniting plugs, not a coil on each plug like some cars, on the chance you are confusing injectors and coils
