this is the second year in a row. put it away for the winter comes summer wont start. last year they said it was the battery even though it was only two years old . again it wont star. hope you can h
Newer model today have prasidiac loads on a battery, the best thing to do is put on a battery tender when it sets, but vas you have a rotary engine it is not good for them to set much more than a couple of weeks as it can cause apex seal damage due to dry condition caused by lack of oil as these engines are basically a 2 stroke and require oil mixed with fuel. I know caused I lost one of my racing rotaries cause I let it set too long without running it, only took 6 weeks down time before it caused chatter marks in the main housing thus ruining the apex seals and rotor housings. So don't let it sit.
Did you put stabilizer in the fuel before storing it? Chances are also good the fuel went rancid during storage. If the car's been asleep all winter long (no start ups) be sure to pull the plugs and spray in a little start-up lubricant as well. Keep that rotor, those seals and that housing lubricated and soft.
yes i agree you cant leave these cars with rotary engines lying to long then just expect them to start as ther is that many seals in them that need lubricated, that sort of engine needs to be ran all year round.
