rear end intermittent creaking noise

my 91 RX-7 convertible has intermittent creaking noise in rear end while driving.  I have
oiled accessable joints/ bushings.  Has anyone had a similar problem and found a

I found a post that mentions this issue, from bushings, shock mounts to the shocks themselves, have a look... generation-specific-1986-1992-17/rear-end-creaking-both-my-cars-no- grase-fittings-26103/

Thanks for the quick, inclusive response. Apparently there are a number of components that could cause creaking. Guess I will start with the easiest potential solution.
