Asked by Feb 28, 2015 at 10:50 AM about the 1991 Mazda RX-7 Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 91 RX-7 convertible has intermittent creaking noise in rear end while driving.  I have
oiled accessable joints/ bushings.  Has anyone had a similar problem and found a
solution?

I found a post that mentions this issue, from bushings, shock mounts to the shocks themselves, have a look...http://www.rx7club.com/2nd- generation-specific-1986-1992-17/rear-end-creaking-both-my-cars-no- grase-fittings-26103/

Thanks for the quick, inclusive response. Apparently there are a number of components that could cause creaking. Guess I will start with the easiest potential solution.
