My 2002 Miata just turned 100K miles today. Almost at the same time, the Check Engine Light came on. The car ran a little rough -- not bad. Just wondering if other people have experienced the same thing. Dealer said there is no "reset" button after 100K miles. Just had the car serviced 2 weeks ago! Any ideas?

Plenty of cars/people experience the CEL coming on. Scan for the codes to determine the situation. I'm surprised the dealer didn't share that information.

best way and easiest way to do it your self. unhook the battery for 30 minutes. then hook it back up and try it.

If you pass an auto parts store like Auto Zone or even NAPA just get them to scan it for free and have them give you the code, also free. Ask them to reset the CEL. They will try to sell you something but it's worth the time.
