my anti-lock brake system is shot is this a common problem with 1998 cavalier

what cost am I looking at to repair my anti-lock brake system - when I press on the brakes my back wheel spins and the car begins to swerve. please respond. cold, wet weather is on the way - I must do something very soon. thanks

Hello, I recently repaired my anti-lock brakes on a 1997 Volvo, and the part itself cost $600! I think the Cavalier parts will be a little less.
