How to hook up rear window defroster?

Just put new top on car with glass window. Window has defroster if car does not have rear defroster is there any way to connect it?

it is possible, you require power and earth, the power fused, and a switch to activate it. an auto elec could probably set it up in about an hour and a half.

My 1994 MIata came with a plastic rear window but wiring for a rear window defroster than ran to the rear deck, just below the window. I have just installed a new top that has an electric rear window (glass).
