think it's the distributor. Is there a way I can

Check the spark plugs to see if there is water in the socket where it plugs in. Next buy a spark plug tester for $8, then check to see if your getting spark to the spark plugs or the distributor. Test both before and after spark plug. If the distributor and spark plug has spark then adjust the distributor.

Check the coil pack, may have damage due to water.
