I have a 2006 vw Passat, after I'm at a countinous speed and or have my cruise set, and I go to accelerate or up a hill, my car starts loosing power, and starts to almost shake, what's happening?

Any CEL codes?

The check engine light comes on and when it shakes it blinks

Get to your local auto parts store and get a code scan...that will help identify the area of the problem. Could be so many things at this point.
