No compression after it stalled out

03 Passat 1.8t stalled out possibly ran out of gas.
Noticed timing belt issue as well. Installed new fuel
pump and timing belt. Still no compression even
though belts are turning

Run a compression test. If the belt broke while the engine was running then there may be bent valves causing it not to start.
