just wanted help with replacement of cv joints and bootys on my 2002 vw Passat 4 dr v6

Just go for the full remanufactured axle assemblies. Don't mess around with the boots, grease and clamps. It's a straightforward job if you have the right tools.

yep just get a new or already prerebuilt one. It will save you time and money in the end since you have no idea how bad your old ones can be and its cheaper this way. Just make sure you get the right ones for your car. the stanadard and automatic ones have different connectors.

Thanks for the info. I think I will go for the rebuilt ones which should save time and be much easier to install.
