Can't get the bolts all the way in to seal the tranny to Engine on a ,1999 tracker. Any tricks?

If it is an automatic, the torque converter is not seated and you will damage the pump in the tranny if you continue. Once the converter is in all the way the tranny will EASILY slip in.
