Need to know were fuel pump for passat 99

In the fuel tank.

open the passenger side seat to the trunk and its right under the carpet in that corner. Remove the cover then the fuel lines. Unscrew the cap and be careful with the lines that come out with the main body. Best to be done when the tank is closer to empty.
