Could you tell me if this price is good

Asked by Oct 21, 2012 at 07:52 PM about the 2000 Volkswagen Beetle GLS TDi

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

2000 beetle TDI
200,000 miles
newer tires, replaced valve gasket and linings for turbo
new battery
asking 4995 dropped from $ 5500.00

1 Answer

4,475

go to www.nadaguides.com and plug in the information for the car. Understand that NO DEALER ever pays more than average trade-in value for a vehicle. If you offer $500-$1000 over that and they don't deal with you...leave. 200K miles is a long way...there will be maintenance issues with the vehicle...factor that into your offer.
