1999 Tahoe - new starter - solenoid clicks - starter won't crank
Intermittent start - turn key nothing, no click, nothing, turn 20 times maybe start, next day start first turn, replaced starter after battery tested ok, new solenoid makes loud click, head lights go out, clock goes out, everything goes out but starter does not turn. Loosened mounting bolts to see if it was binding, still nothing, checked to make sure starter connections were not shorted, they are ok. If the solenoid clicks is relay OK then?
One click then nothing can he a weak connection, either battery terminals or on the starter itself. If it clicks repetitively then you have a weak battery
Thank you, had a partial broken cable down along the frame. Replaced cable and no problems.
