I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe every morning
it won't start unless I spray starting fluid in
the filter housing after I spray it once for
the most part it start on its own what may
be the problem?

Sounds like the fuel system is losing pressure. Try this, turn the key to the run position but don't try to start it. Count to 5 and turn the key off. Repeat a second time. Now try to start it. If it fires right up, which I believe it will, the fuel system is definitely losing pressure. Most common cause of this is a dying fuel pump. There's a check valve in the fuel pump assembly, in the gas tank, that wears out. My '03 S-10 Pick Up has been doing the same thing for several years. HTH. -Jim
