I'm am about to buy a 2003 Volkswagen
Jetta 1.8t and everyone is telling me that
they should all have tip-tronic and the one
I'm buy does not could this mean it's a
swap ?

I suggest you walk away. These are famous for transmission woes. Unless you completely in love with VWs Jettas and can afford the all the repairs coming. Regards...Check online so many unhappy owners!

I love my 2007 Wolfsburg Jetta. Also. It all have the t-Tronic tranny. Check the vin codes or look for the sticker with trim package near the spare tire. You can google what the trims mean.
