car won't stay running after start and osometer wont display
have a 2001 jettta wolfburg edition.changed oil and nowthe odometer and clock wont display after changing oil and ALL!! the warmimg lights come on with the key and stay on the entire time the keyis onand the car starts and shuts off just like the immobilizer was triggered and when you try to scan for codes the scanner will not link to car thru OBDII plug
Have the battery tested - weak batteries can send the electrical system haywire at time
with a scan tool, you gotta reset all that crap~ http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_years/volkswagen-jetta- scan-tool-2001.html
