Hard to say, check the battery voltage first, it might be too weak to start the car, but enough to have lights on in the car. Post back what you measured.

My cousin told me he think the starter is bad.he told me if I turn the key over n I hear a clicking nose that mean the starter trying to engaged.he told me to hit it with a hammer n see if it will start.I'm goin to try that n see what happen

I found out why my car didn't start.the wire that connect to the starter was split in half.I connected them back together n it started right up.
