My alarm has not worked for years and all of a sudden today it started working. Key FOB doesnt work but everytime i start the car or open passenger doors the alarm goes off

Replaced the batteries in the FOB and it still
does not work. Any ideas of how to fix this
issue?

you need to fix your door key cyleder.that arms and disarms your alarm.
