how much does a lower rod bearing for a 1999 Chevy suburban 1500 Lt
I need to know how much parts for changing a lower rod bearing
in a 1999 Chevy suburban 1500 Lt cost and how much in labor
Parts: cheap. Labor: a lot. You're looking at a lower end rebuild.
If the rod bearing has spun and damaged the crankshaft the engine will need to be removed and likely replaced. Very few rod bearings that go bad leave the crankshaft undamaged.
Your best bet is replace the engine or the truck. Personally I wouldn't fix it. HTH. -Jim
