My 1990 jetta's headlights wont come on unless key is in ignition or running. The taillights do come on with no key in ignition. Is this normal?
I wish they were all like that. It may be a safety feature in your vehicle. This way you can't walk off and leave the lights on and kill your battery. I wouldn't sweat it until they don't come on with the engine running......
its all good my volvo does the same thing europeans do alot of things over there that dont do over here i had another one that i could leave one of the rear light on,purpose was so you could see it in the fog when you parked on the street
