Have overfilled oil

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have reduced oil level back to the correct level after overfilling,engine managment light is
still on will this go out or do i have to get it plugged into a diagnostic machine?

It will go out on it's own eventually, if that is the only problem, it usually takes about 10 to 15 cold initial starts to reset the light.
