My 99 chevy malibu was running rough so i gave it a tune up. (put in new plugs) then i
noticed the fuel regulator was leaking so i put a new one on. now it will run for about 30
seconds and die. do you think that its a fuel pump? any thing im missing? i have spark
but not sure if fuel is getting there. if you floor the peddal it will die and sputter.

It is possible that it may be bad fuel pump, but i have seen your model igintion switch cause this issue all so,if possible check the fuel pressure,if pressure is good when pump is on,check your ignition switch.

Hmmm ok I think I saw the ignition switch on a recall list for my car. Do u know how to get it for free on a recall? Or am I just dreaming?

If recall on the igintion has not been done, call your local chevy dealer, may get lucky and not have to pay out of pocket for it.
