Immobilizer

Asked by Jul 05, 2017 at 11:18 AM about the 1999 Volkswagen Golf 4 Dr GL Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently my car developed a fault of 'immobilizer
activated'  and it was reprogrammed and seemed
fine. Now after starting and drive four times it will
be fine and on the fifth attempt the fault starts
again. If you do programming again the same
cycle will continue to happen again.
What is the lasting solution for this problem?
Thank you for your help in advance.
