I have a 1999 Chevy Lumina 3.1 v6 and died out yesterday and then start again 2 days ago I had a buzzing sound coming from the throttle positioning sensor or the ICA sensor
it's getting gas when I started I put the
pedal down all the way and it barely
stay runnin barely out and it backfired
Take off your air intake hose to the throttle body. Spray carb cleaner into the Idle Air Control Valve. See if that makes a difference. Here's a short video. Different car, but same idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i82s4ZfR2js
thanks for your answer is there anyway I could test the sensors throttle positioning sensor Or the ICA sensor
Here's a short video on how to test your Throttle Position Sensor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KEd52QJMNc Here's the test for the IAC valve. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9tUcS7Y3Qw The IAC valve test only will tell you that it has power to it. Won't tell you if it's plugged.
