Sputtering

My Cabrio sputters for a short while after I
start it & go down the road... I realize it is
fuel injection... So I know it's not a  
carburetor issue... Could it be spark plugs
or fuel filter???

To answer your question it could be either or both. Have you done a tuneup and filter change lately?

You should also watch for some white smoke out the tailpipe after the first startup, hopefully you won't see any but if you do chances are high that you have a blown headgasket.
