My door locks don't work anymore from the inside, what controls this function?

Asked by Sep 09, 2013 at 01:39 PM about the 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio 2 Dr GLS Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both of my doors used to unlock and lock when I locked the car...now only the drivers side door will lock with the key and neither will lock when I press the lock button on the inside of the doors.

That sounds like the lock actuator motors have quit operating, you will have to remove the door panels to verify.
