2001 vw cabrio door lock cylinder comes out

when i put my key in my door lock it spins and the key
gets stuck in the lock, it doesn’t lock or unlock the door
and sometimes the cylinder will pop out. it’s an old car
that sat for a long time and i understand if it’s rusted or
something like that but i’m wondering how to fix it.

take it to a auto locksmith, the dealer or a good local shop. there is no quick way to make the repair, sorry...
