Just got this As ive loved these since I was 16. The power
windiws are stumping me but more importantly is the
starting issue.
Its a 1998. Im trying to get it to start. Replaced plugs wires
dist rotor button air filter oil and filter and new battery and it
turns but doesnt catch. ...though it tried a few times. Dont
really smell alot of gas when I try to start it either If any.

Power windows and the radio will work with key out, until the driver's door is opened, for about 10 minutes.

Had the same problem with my 01 Cabrio, was the ignition switch, replaced and now have no problem,it would try to start sometimes just when I released the key.
