I need to replace the cigarette lighter fuse in my 2004 bmw z4 2.5i which one is it?

was using the lighter port to charge my phone and it stopped working. the charger works
tried it in another car so i know its not that so im thinking its the fuse but which one? saw
a couple posts about this already but no definitive answer.  thanks a bunch

I am not familiar with BMW but, if you still have the owner's manual you may find the location of your fuse panels there. You may also look at the back of the lighter plug to make sure the connections did not come loose.

I sure hate responding that it's the blown fuse and cant you tell through an observation of all the fuses as to which is the blown one ? Do you need to know how to get to the fuse area ?

lokk behind the glove box at fuses, on nthe bottom row of fuses, it is the first fuse ............. It is blue in color and it is 15 AMP.check the manual for access to open area behind glove box.
