2003 Z4 - 100k Miles - Worth buying?

Asked by Apr 29, 2015 at 09:28 PM about the 2003 BMW Z4 2.5i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am contemplating buying a 2003 Z4 which has done close to a 100k miles. Its in really
good condition and drives well (atleast on the surface of things).

1. do you think its a sensible buy?
2. What are the things I should probably check/verify before buying it?

Sensible? Since this is a luxury weekend car, it will cost some money to maintain. Most will say around $1500 a year if you wrench on your car. More if you don't. Here is some info...http://www.bimmerfest.com/wiki/index.php/BMW_E85/E86

Have an independent BMW shop inspect it for you before purchase, called a pre purchase inspection. That way you know what your getting into without getting burned.
