1987 supra turbo secondary's on the coils keep burning out

Asked by Aug 13, 2015 at 01:09 AM about the 1987 Toyota Supra 2 dr Hatchback Turbo

So I have a 1987 supra turbo and I replaced
the spark plugs and coils it ran for the day
went to start it next day and coils are dead
again I've checked the wiring it looks fine
and multimeter any suggestions as to why I
have a feeling they aren't going to warranty
them again hoping to get it fixed

The only thing I can think of is over voltage going down the road or an erratic or unstable engine ground.
