I have a 86 Supra. It has no alternator. How do I determine the amperage needed on OEM alternator?

The car is my wifes(second marriage).  Her x robbed the alternator for another alt.  Now I need to know what amperage I need to get.  I want to replace with OEM part.

Stop in any local auto parts store and they will hook you up with the correct one for your vehicle. You car happens to use a 70amp model. If you buy a remanufactured one, make sure it has a belt pulley on it, sometimes they don't!
