1999 Chevy cavalier Z oil leaking heavily onto spark plugs and into spark plug well.
Chevy Cavalier Z 2.4 liter engine. Oil leaking in spark plugs and into the plug
wells...not over heating or stalling out but hesitating and no fuel power.
Replace the valve cover gasket and tube seals, that should fix it.
Yes I will do that but do you have advice on best way to get to the valve cover - it's deeper inside this engines
Not that tough once you get the engine covers off. See pic
Dis this a pic of the cavalier Z24 2.4 liter 1999? I was told there are two valve covers and it's a long pain in the ass job. If you have instruction on how to get to the area where the oil would be getting in let me know. Today I cleaned out the spark plugs and the wells as well as around the plugs, bought a new oil pressure switch and put it on...no change to the power and bad hesitation issue what so ever. It's still running like crap. Not overheating or bad black smoke but running so bad. Any help would be great!
That's one of them, here is the other.
