1985 Red Celica Convertible

Asked by Sep 17, 2011 at 03:32 PM about the 1985 Toyota Celica GT-S Convertible

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My wife has a 1985 Red Celica Convertible that is in pristine condition - in Indiana.
It has roughly 40,000 mi on it, has been garaged always, and nary a scratch.  It's
been driven about 5 times / year for the last 15 years.  Everything works perfectly
and the top is in excellent condition.
As we are now too old for it, how can I sell it for what it's worth (I assume quite a
bit), and what would you advise that its worth?

the best way to get a good idea is to look at the price it costed off the lot. then look at the mileage (which 40k original miles is amazing) if its truly in mint condition i have seen them go for 10,000 or more just depends on who wants it an if they apreciate the tru rearity of such a car. u can also look in the kelly blue book to determine its value or go to ur local toyota dealership an ask them to appraise it for u. they can look everythin over an check for any hidden nastys. but if i had the money i would buy it from u lol. just remember u cant keep a good toyota down. keep on drivin it man thats the best way to ensure the joy of a hard to find jewel.
