I have 99 S10 blazer it just died on the side of the road. I checked the codes and it came back as the heat sensor would that stop my truck from starting? ????

It very well could, what was the code number and sensor...

Its the sensor in the side of the block not sure the number

Crank sensor....if so it could, but normally it bogs the car down and rides rough.
