Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Blazer bucks in AM.  Sat for 5 weeks with dead battery.  After jump start starts fine.  Stops bucking after a few minutes of driving.  Sits all day while at work no bucking on drive home.

what do you mean by bucking ? do you mean it miss fires when you drive it ? my uncle and i worked on one of these and the problems are never simple. start by regular diagnosis, check the fuel pump, check the wires, check or replace the fuel filter, move up to under the hood and check the distributor cap they tend to melt on those some times. check the spark plug wires they tend to jump when damp so try wrapping um in electoral tap or wire covers. then check your plugs. If all this checks out in the end move on to the egr valve it tends to do this when it goes bad as well.
