what year of corollas have interchangable body and suspension parts for a 1989 corolla GTS
I crashed my 1989 Toyota Corolla GTS, an now i need a replacement drivers side door
with power windows, as well as bumper supports and a sway bar for the rear.
Way to go, Sparky!!! Try a junkyard or search online for parts...maybe look to see if there's a Toyota Corolla GTS fan club online.
1987 to 1991 the E60 chassis 6th Generation. Also if you find a Geo Prizim same years any part will fit, They are the same car, different badge. That is one particular generation that changed both body and engine quite a bit, going in to the the 6th and then after with the 7th. Normally other chassis codes many parts would interchange, you just have the (bad) luck of the draw and those are it. The 1.6L 4E GE and FE did carry on though, And I just saw that you have the GTS coupe. That is chassis code AE 92
You mean a 4AGE motor. The AE92L-ACMVFK was made from 08/87 to 07/89, but body parts off SR5's & 90-92 GTS & SR5 will fit. the Geo Prizm has many parts interchangeable, but they r not the same car. These parts r hard to get, these GTS cars r rare. I have a black '89 they r fun to drive. My friend has had his nearly ripped off 2 X. Mine is secure :)
