Airbag light is flashing and vehicle loses power
My 99 Blazer has been acting very strangely. I will be driving normally and suddenly
my airbag light will come on, sometimes steady and sometimes flashing, my
headlights and dash lights will dim and brighten and the vehicle will lose power,
sometimes just losing power but not stalling, and sometimes it will stall out
completely. I have also noticed that the battery gauge will jump up quite a bit, like
there is a surge at the same time it is trying to stall. We thought maybe it was a loose
connection on the battery cable, but that has been fixed and the problem has not been
resolved. Any idea what could be causing this??? Thanks!

There have been a lot of problems with the auxiliary feed wire from the battery to the power distribution box, corrosion gets inside the wire and just starts traveling inside the wire, I had to replace that wire in my Tahoe, the corosion had ventured up inside that wire four feet from the battery, so after I fixed all the corosion damage I invested in a dry cell battery, just what that rig needed, no more corosion.
Your ABS might be a separate problem, but voltage drops can cause some weird things to happen, so fix the wiring issue then go from there.
