im working on 1999 blazer 4.3 after replacing timing chain an gears have no spark coming out distributor any thoughts

Check that you have power going to the distributor from the ignition switch. Check that any ground straps/wires that were disconnected while changing the timing chain have been re- connected. Check all fuses. Especially if the battery was not disconnected during your repair (a definate no-no). Always disconnect the battery when doing any major repairs! HTH. - Jim
