old car low mileage what are some risks?Cost to good to be true?
Risks are that it sat for a long time without running. So you will probably need to replace all fluids and rubber components. Any car that old will need some amount of work.
Run a vehicle history report on it. If it has a five digit odometer you could be looking at a vehicle with 194,000 on it. Or even 294,000. When a vehicle with a five digit odometer hits 100,000 miles it starts at zero again. A vehicle history report will usually tell the tale though. HTH. -Jim
If the under neath ain't rotted out it would be just what I look for , too much tech. over kill in newer cars , even with replacement of major parts to me it's still a good deal , I do my own work though .
Make sure it passes smog inspection before buying.
