I have an1989 honda civic 1.5 4cyl that is starting but runs rough like chugging and smells of fuel in exhaust any ideas i need help only car and have three kids

Hello, I own a 1998 Honda civic and it had the same symptoms. My problem was an oil leak so try and see if that is the problem. Once I fixed the leak, the smell went away and the car runs good now.

It leaks oil but inturnally and i cant seem to find it its not in the oil or coolant when i unplug the top injector the idol dont change but the bottom one does change idol and when i pull plug wire for number one car dont miss but other three do cause missing i am lost
