Why is my idle so low when my foot is off the gas and rough when I'm on the gas?
I have a 1987 Toyota Camry when I'm
getting into the car to leave it will just
cut off. When my foot is on the gas it
goes fine. But when I've been driving
for a few miles the idle is really low
and gets rough as igain speed how
can I fix this??
Try cleaning your Idle Air Control Valve or replace it. The older Camrys have a very large IAC. It will run you around $300 for a new one. Try Rockauto.com. There are video's on Youtube on how to clean them. You will need a can of throttle body cleaner.
